Job Description

Evergreen Bookkeeping, LLC, serves small to mid-sized businesses in the Portland Metro area. We are a fully remote workplace.

 Must be confident with QuickBooks online and QuickBooks desktop. Job responsibilities include:

  • Ability to import transactions from bank feed data to QuickBooks.

  • Recording transactions with correct coding and classes, including detailed splits.

  • Input bills and invoices, record payments and check AP and AR balances.

  • Recording detailed payroll transactions from third-party payroll provider reports

  • Monthly or weekly reconciliation of checking, savings and credit accounts

  • Confident using journal entries to adjust balances if necessary.

  • Assist with complex excel worksheets as needed.

 Other skills required:

  • Must be able to follow consistent firm procedures.

  • Have an eye for details and the ability to spot and solve errors independently.

  • Time tracking per project is required.

  • Must be confident working with paperless/cloud-based software systems

  • Keeping your calendar and project management software updated.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and coordinate with the team.

  • Good communication skills and enthusiasm for collaboration

  • Able to embrace a growth-mindset and adapt as the firm evolves.

  • Have a drive to provide excellent service for our clients.

  • Reverence and sensitivity to the confidentiality of client data.

 Compensation depends on experience, ranging from $22-28 per hour.
